2012年10月15日上午10点,国际实验室系列学术讲座2012年下半年第四期报告在A718室举行,本次讲座邀请到复旦大学吴施伟教授来苏州纳米所进行学术交流。吴施伟教授作了题为 “Optical Spectroscopy and Dynamics of Nanostructures”学术报告。报告会由倪卫海研究员主持,相关科研人员和学生聆听了报告。摘要:Optical microscopy incorporated with spectroscopy is a very powerful approach to study nanostructures. In this talk, I will present a few examples of our recent work in this direction. One is optical characterization of single rare-earth ion doped nanoparticles, which show strong near-infared to visible upconverted photoluminescence. The unique characteristics of these nanoparticles suggest that they could serve as ideal single-molecule probes for bio-imaging. Another is on graphene, a two-dimensional (2D) carbon material and the mother of 1D carbon nanotubes. The 2D confinement of carriers and phonons in graphene leads to many extraordinary electrical, thermal and mechanical properties, as well as optical and optoelectronic properties. I will show you some of our recent findings thatinclude a bright, broadband nonlinear photoluminescence and ultrafast phonon dynamics in gated graphene. Finally, I will describe my recent endeavor in developinga near-field optical microscope that has the capability to study nanostructures towards the spatial and temporal limits.个人简介:吴施伟,复旦大学物理系研究员,博士生导师。2001年7月毕业于复旦大学物理系,获得学士学位。本科毕业后留学美国加州大学尔湾分校物理系,2007年9月获博士学位。博士毕业后在劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室的纳米科学研究中心(Molecular Foundry)从事独立的博士后研究。2011年2月加入复旦大学物理系。研究工作主要致力于开发各种先进的扫描探针技术及其与光学技术的结合,利用它们来研究小尺度体系中的物理,并从微观角度解决凝聚态物理和表面科学中一些前沿、疑难的问题。现已在国际知名学术刊物上发表论文11篇,其中包括 Science一作1篇,PNAS一作和二作各1篇,PRL一作1篇,共被引用约400余次。
